Rated the best hotel in Amherst and seated in the center of the picturesque UMass-Amherst campus, Hotel UMass blends a tranquil countryside escape with the bustling energy of campus life, making it your ideal destination when staying in the area.
The rate for conference participants is $129.00 per room, per night (plus applicable fees, currently 6% plus $1.00 per room, per night)--breakfast and parking included. Consider sharing a room with somebody else from the conference (this is a great price for high season in New England).
Our conference will be held in two locations: the Hotel UMass, in the UMass-Amherst campus (Thursday 24 and Saturday 26), and the Willits-Hallowell Hotel, in the campus of Mount Holyoke College (Friday 25). On Friday 25, there will be free transportation available to go from the Hotel UMass to the campus of Mount Holyoke College and back. A bus will also be available to get to the site of the Banquet on Saturday. (For more details, see Transportation)

In Amherst (where UMass-Amherst is located)
The Lord Jeffery Inn is a historic hotel in the center of the town. The conference banquet will be held here. A recently renovated building, located on the Amherst Common, the Inn provides a desirable alternative to the limited service branded hotels in the area and is within walking distance to numerous museums, restaurants, shops, and other points of interest.
There are 5 double rooms (queen beds) available at the rates of $205-$230 (+5% discount). You must reserve at (413) 256-8200, Group Code: LATINAS (see at http://www.lordjefferyinn.com/). Rooms will be held at this rate until August 8, 2015.
In South Hadley (where MHC is located)
If you prefer to stay in South Hadley, where Mount Holyoke College is located, there are three other choices:
Parking at these hotels is free of charge. If you are not driving, for those who decide to stay in South Hadley, transportation to Amherst will only be available through the Five College buses of the PVTA (see Transportation for more information).
